Tina has lived,
worked and painted for personal enjoyment in the Quinte area with
her family and animals for most of her life. Although graduating
from Queen's with a degree in psychology, she has had some formal
schooling in the visual arts at Western University, and Loyalist
College, as well as with Donna Cameron Senior.
After
retiring in 2007 from 35 years with the Public Service, Tina now
paints full time. Using pen and ink, charcoal, graphite, coloured
pencil, pastels, water colours, and acrylics, Tina will draw
or paint just about anything, land and aquascapes, animals and
abstracts, as well as unique, individual soul mandalas for
meditations.
Tina has exhibited her work at
various juried shows such as Art in the County, Prince Edward
County, and at Expressions, the John Parrot Gallery
Shows, and the Belleville Art Association juried shows,
Belleville. She has also participated in Art in the Community
through the Quinte and Brighton Arts Councils an well as various
art show and sales such as Brighton Your Christmas, the
Downtown Belleville Art Walks and Christmas
at Presqu'ile.
Tina's aquascapes and fish portraits,
as well as her actual fish tanks were also featured in the Jan.
and Feb. 2008 Life and Gallery sections of the Belleville
Intelligencer.
In 2010
paintings may be viewed at various locations and businesses in the
Quinte area as well as her own Shadowridge Studio and
Gallery on the Rednersville Rd., Prince Edward County, at the BAA
(Belleville Art Association) Gallery in downtown
Belleville (and their website www.bellevilleart.ca)

In 2008, inspired by her Reiki Master studies,
Tina began experimenting in semi-precious stone, 14k gold, and
sterling silver jewellery design. Her jewellery has been at
several shows in the Quinte area such as the Rednersville Rd.
Studio Tours, Brighton Your Christmas and Christmas at
Presqu'ile. New jewellery may be viewed at her blog spot as well
as this website and the www.bellevilleart.ca. Custom orders are a specialty with all
stones and jewelry Reiki enhanced.
In
2010 Tina will, for the 2nd year, be the featured
"Artist in the Park" at Presqu'ile and will also be a site on
the 3nd annual Rednersville Studio Tour. She will also
hold her annual Spring and Christmas show and sale
at her Shadowridge Gallery.
